Welcome
On behalf of everyone involved in the Friends of Foxmoor, a warm welcome to our association. You may not realise this, but as soon as your child starts school at Foxmoor you are automatically a member – for life! Friends of Foxmoor is a registered charity (registration number 1112143) whose charitable objectives are to advance the education of pupils at the school. We aim to do this by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and also engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils through fundraising.
Currently Friends of Foxmoor has 5 committee members who are all parents of children at the school. The committee is made up of Chair - Lucy Howe, Treasurer - Kate Wheatley, Secretary - Jade Bristow, Shannon Yolland-Jones - Trustee and Hannah Giddings - Trustee. There are also lots of volunteers who donate their time and experience for events and meetings. Without the whole Foxmoor community coming together the committee would not be able to do what it does.
Over the years we have provided multiple experiences for the children, school discos, subsidised trips to the pantomime, visiting pantomimes and planetariums and many more. We have also provided funding for lots of things within the school including the all weather canopy in the reception play area, iPad's and charging trollies, the pastoral and SEN hub based in the school playground, reading books and many more.
We have worked hard over the years to build a good working relationship with the school to provide both memorable experiences for the children and essential things to improve the quality of their learning.
