Co-opted Governor
Foxmoor Primary School is a community school and nursery, located in Stroud. Our ethos is 'Excellence Through Enjoyment'. The school has a highly regarded and high performing team of teachers and teaching assistants. They provide not only outstanding teaching for our children but also a vast range of extra-curricular activities and clubs. The school was rated good in our latest Ofsted inspection, March 2020, with certain areas highlighted as outstanding.
The governing body is actively involved with the school, acting as a critical friend to the teaching team. Having recently changed the nursery to being governor-led, we are now seeking a co-opted governor to join the team. Ideally, we are seeking someone who has prior governing experience, as the team is fairly inexperienced, and/or skills in the areas of Health and Safety, Human Resources or Law. If you would like further information on this opportunity, please contact the Chair of Governors (chair@foxmoor.gloucs.sch.uk)
