Statement of Safeguarding Children

At Foxmoor Primary School, there is a shared understanding that the duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of our pupils is everyone’s responsibility. The school has robust policies and procedures, which are in line with the Gloucester Safeguarding Children Executive. All staff and visitors share the school’s culture of safeguarding and are expected to know the school’s procedures for reporting any concerns.

We ensure that:

· Appropriate action is taken in a timely manner to safeguard and promote children’s welfare

· All staff and visitors are aware of their statutory responsibilities with respect to safeguarding

· Staff are properly trained in recognising and reporting safeguarding issues
